What is granola?

Oats, nuts and seeds, mixed with honey and a little oil, then baked on a gentle heat until they turn into golden, crunchy pieces.

Granola or muesli?

Muesli comes raw and loose; granola is baked, so it turns into crunchy pieces.

Why is it crunchy?

Gentle baking toasts the honey and the oats, and as it cools it dries and hardens.

Why does it come in clusters?

The honey brings the oats and nuts together, and as it cools it holds them in place.

Where does the name come from?

In nineteenth-century America there was a baked cereal called Granula, and later the name became Granola.

The full story

The story began with an old love for nuts and sweets, and for everything made with taste and finished with a touch of care 🤎 Since my university days, cashews were part of my day, and with my love for desserts and the encouragement of my family and friends, the idea of the project began to grow inside me from 2022, until I found in granola the beginning closest to me and most like my taste. I started it with my own recipe and my own touch, and I chose August for it… a month that holds my own beginning, and I wanted it to hold the beginning of this dream too 🤎 And today, August Granola is the first chapter of the dream… a beginning I made with passion, and God willing, what comes next is even better.

It's sweetened with honey only.

Yes: pecans, cashews and almonds, with pumpkin seeds. And the coming chocolate flavours have hazelnuts.

How much does a pack weigh?

300 g, in a clear jar with a tight lid.

3 months from the production date if kept in the fridge in its airtight pack, and it keeps 3 weeks out of the fridge in a cool place.
